In Board, there are four types of roles. Roles determine the level of access and permissions a user has in the system.

CONTENT
Manage roles
- Go to Settings
- Select Users
- In the user overview, you can see each user's current role
- To change a user's role, select the user you want to edit, then choose the appropriate role under Role
Role descriptions
User
Can view boards, slideshows, and games that have been shared with them.
Team Leader
Can view boards, slideshows, and games that have been shared with them.
Additionally, they can select the content to be displayed on TVs
Manager
A Manager can:
- View boards, slideshows, and games that have been shared with them
- Create, edit, and share boards, slideshows, and games
- Create notifications
- Add TVs and choose which content is displayed on them
Before a Manager can create boards or games, they must be granted access to an integration. As an Administrator, you can set filters to limit Manager access to specific data for creating boards or games.
To grant a Manager access to an integration:
- Go to Settings
- Click Integrations
- Select the integration where access should be given
- Click Managers
- Click Create access
- Select the Manager and set the required filters
Manager access is also required before they can assign integration users to individual users.
Managers have access to under Management, where they can manage:
- Users
- Teams
- Public Links
- Images
- Budgets they have created
Administrator
An Administrator can:
- View boards, slideshows, and games shared with them.
- Has full access to all features and functions within Board.
As the Organization Owner, you have access to all content across your platform. Content does not need to be shared with you, as you can view everything by default.Was this article helpful?
