Public links

With Public Links, you can create links that directly connect to your boards, slideshows, and games.

Public Links allow you to share content with individuals who do not have a user account in Board.

Only Managers and Administrators can create public links.

You can find Public Links under Settings

Under 'Public Links,' you will get an overview of all the links that have been created. Here you can see everything from the type of content shared, when the link is active from/to, whether it is IP locked, and when it was last accessed.

It is only possible to view the content that has been shared; editing from public links is not allowed.

Create Link

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Public Links
  3. Click on Create Link
  4. Name the link, choose whether there should be a start/end date, and if it should be locked to a specific IP address
  5. Then select which board, slideshow, or game the link should point to

View Link

How do I view the created links?

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Public Links
  3. Click on the line for the link you want to view. A pop-up will appear from which you can copy the link and send it to the individuals who need access.

Edit Link

Easily edit an existing link with just a few clicks.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Public Links
  3. Click edit next to the link you want to modify

You can customize the name, start and end date, and choose whether the link should be locked to a specific IP address.

Delete Link

Do you have a link that should no longer be active?

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Public Links
  3. Click the delete icon next to the link you wish to remove

If someone tries to access a deleted link, they will see the message: 'Link not found.'

Export Public Link

As the Owner of your organization, you can export all public links to Excel.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Public Links
  3. Click on Export
  4. If the file did not automatically download, click on the pop-up to download.
