TV function does not work
We can support down to Chrome version 61. For security reasons, we only support TVs running Chrome version 61 or newer.
Earlier versions of Chrome are outdated and no longer receive updates, including security patches, which makes them vulnerable to both known and unknown threats.
You can check which version you are using by looking at the bottom of the screen, under Chrome/XX.X.XXXX.XX.
Errors shown on TV
If you encounter errors while using the TV function to display Board, please send an email to support@intramanager.com and attach a picture of the screen. The information displayed will help us diagnose the issue and provide the most effective assistance.
Reactivate the TV
If a 4-digit code appears on your screen even though your TV has been previously set up in Board, the issue may be related to the browser's configuration. If the browser is set to automatically clear data—for instance, upon closing or on a scheduled basis—the 4-digit code will reappear after each data-clearing event. We therefore recommend to have a closer look at the browser settings on your device, where you can manage your cookies.
To verify settings in Microsoft Edge:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Privacy, Search, and Services.
- Select Choose what to clear every time you close the browser.
- Ensure that Cookies and other site data is not enabled. This prevents the browser from clearing cookies and other relevant data.
Understanding how cookies are managed on your device is essential for maintaining seamless access to Board through the TV module.
If the 4-digit code appears on your TV, you have to create the TV in Board again since the connection has been lost.
In Board, you also have the possibility to use Public Links, which do not require activation via cookies.
No sound on notifications on your TV?
Try updating the browser on the TV screen.
Youtube video does not play automatically
Some browsers block autoplay although being configured to allow it. The issue often resolves itself, but you should check the browser’s autoplay settings and enable “always play” for videos.
It’s a known challenge with autoplay across browsers. Here are the main causes and solutions:
Why autoplay sometimes fails:
Browser Autoplay Policies
Modern browsers have strict autoplay policies:
Chrome: Blocks autoplay unless the user has interacted with the page
Safari: Very restrictive autoplay policy
Firefox: Blocks autoplay by default
Edge: Follows Chromium’s policy
User Interaction Requirement
Browsers often require user interaction before allowing autoplay, such as:
Clicking on the page
Navigating to the page
Previous video playback on the same domain
Games are lagging
Sometimes games don’t run as smoothly on a TV, because they were originally made to work on computers. Most TVs use older browsers that aren’t as powerful or up to date, and that can unfortunately cause the game to lag.
