If you have an employee who cannot clock-in on a project there can be a couple of things to check.

1. Firstly you need to make sure that the employe have access to the project. An access can be given for the entire employee group or a single employee. Go to the project to check the access.

2. If an employee has forgotten to clock-out the day before it will not be possible to clock in. Someone with the right permissions will be able to go to Reportings > Clock-ins. Click on the green icon to clock-out an employee. The employee will then be able to correctly clock-in for the day.

You can set up a job that automatically clock-out for your employees. This is usefull to reset for a new day. Learn more about the job here.

3. When you create an employee group it is important to set up permissions. See more about employee groups here. Make sure that the employee group has the permission "Clock-ins: Clock-in/out" set to on. If this permission is not given it will not be available for the employee to clock-in.

4. An employee can be met with this warning when they try to clock-in:

If they get this warning it is due to the security settings set up for the employee or the employee group which mean they are not allowed to clock-in on the ip-adress they are at. You can check the security settings under the menu Various > Systemsettings. The security settings is set up to specific ip-adresses.

If the employee is on the right IP-adress and still get the warning try disconnect from the internet and reconnect.
