Integration Overview

Under Settings > Integrations, you have an overview of all your created integrations. This is also where you can create new integrations


In the overview, you can view details about each integration, including whether the integration is active, its status, when the latest data was fetched, and when there were any errors in the integration. 



From the overview, you can access individual integrations where you can:

1. View Details

    1.5. Data

    1.6. Rentention policies

1. View Details 


Under View Details, you can find information about your data source as well as edit your data source.  


1.1. Details

In the Details tab, you can find information about your integration, such as when it was created, who created it, when it was last updated, and when the last data was fetched.



1.2. Manager

As an Administrator, you can give a Manager access to an integration. With this access, the Manager can use the integration in widgets, view datasets as well as add integration user to users in Board.

You can also set restrictions on what data the Manager is allowed to see.

When restrictions are placed on the integration, the Manager will be required to select these filters when setting up widgets and games with the selected integration.


To set Manager access and apply restrictions:

  1. Click Create access in the top right corner
  2. Select which Manager should have access to the integration
  3. Under filters, choose any restrictions on the data the Manager can view



1.3. Errors

If there have been errors in the integration, you will be able to see a list of events under this section.



1.4. Users

In the Users tab, you can link integration users with Board users directly from the integration, you can read more about it here. Users can also be connected as individual users under Users. 



1.5. Data

Under Data, you can deactive data sets, resynchronize and delete data, you can read more about data handling here.


Be careful to only delete data that should be permanently removed.


1.6. Rentention policies

Retention rules help ensure that, among other things, personally identifiable information is deleted after a specified time. See more about retention policies here.


2. Edit Integration


To edit an integration:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Integrations from the menu
  3. Click Edit Integration to make changes
  4. Make the necessary changes and click Save


For example, if your data source has a new API key, this is where you would update it.




3. Delete Integration 


To delete an integration in Board:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Integrations from the menu
  3. Click the trash can icon to delete the integration
  4. Click Yes to confirm if you are sure you want to delete the selected integration


Only delete integrations you no longer wish to visualize data from
