Employees can access and view the shift schedule. With shift schedule access, an employee can see who they are working with, the times others are working, and whether anyone is absent.
Employees CANNOT see the type of absence applicable
Shift overview can only be accessed via a browser
There are three levels of shift schedule access depending on the rights enabled for the employee group.
Shift overviews: Read Access
An employee can view the employees in the shift schedule who are below them in the hierarchy.
Shift overview: Read Access and the toggle "Allow Viewing Same Level"
Here, they can view employees in their own employee group as well as all those below them in the hierarchy.
Shift overview: Read Access and Shift overview: Ignore ancestry
This grants access to view everyone across the entire organization, regardless of hierarchy.
If an employee belongs to an employee group in a department with top-down control, they can view shifts for all departments.
An employee can also see who they are working with under "My Shifts" in the form of a list. Learn more about how this is configured here. Learn more about how this looks for employees in the app here and in a browser here.
