Teams in Board allow you to group users, which can be useful for filtering data on boards, setting notifications, and managing games. You can also share content based on teams.
Overview
Create a Team
To create a team:
- Go to Settings > Teams
- Click on Create Team and name the team
You can choose whether the team belongs to an existing team, making it a sub-team.
Once created, the team will appear in the overview. You can now make changes and manage users within the team.
You also have the option to add a picture/GIF to differentiate your team. To add an image:
- Hover over the team name abbreviation icon on the left.
- Click Edit and upload the desired image or GIF.
If you use a GIF, it cannot be cropped, rotated, or edited.
Add/Remove Users
You can manage users in a team in two ways:
1. From the Team:
- Go to Settings > Teams
- Select the team, go to the Users tab, and click Add/Remove Users
- Select which users to add or remove
2. From the User Profile:
- Go to Settings > Users
- Select the user and go to the Team tab
- Choose the team to assign the user or deselect it to remove them from the team
Edit a Team
To edit a team:
- Go to Settings > Teams
- Click Edit next to the team you want to modify or edit the team from within its page by clicking Edit Team in the top right corner
You can change the team name and decide whether it should be a sub-team of another.
Delete a Team
- Go to Settings > Teams
- Select the team and click Delete on the right side
You will be prompted with a warning to confirm the deletion.
