Data Filtering

Would you like to display specific data on your boards, widgets, games, or notifications? With IntraManager Board, you can filter the data in a variety of ways.

You can apply filters through your data source with 'Manage Filters', allowing you to sort by users, projects, campaigns, departments, and more. The available filter options vary depending on the data source you are using.

If you want to base your data on the users or teams created in Board, you can make use of filtered users and teams.

Overview

Filtering by Users or Teams - Board

If you want your entire board to be based on specific users or teams created in Board, you can choose to filter by Board teams or users under 'Board Settings' so that data is only displayed for the selected entities.

When creating a new board, select either 'filtered teams' or 'filtered users', depending on what you want to filter by.

If you have an existing board, you want to be based on a specific team or user, click on ⚙️ 'Settings' on the board, and choose the teams or users you want to display data for.

Filtering - Widgets

Filter via data source

Click on 'Create Widget' or 'Edit' on an existing widget. Click on the data source that you want to apply filters to, then select the filters that should be applied to your data.

You can use the search function or expand the options to choose your filters. Once filters are selected, the number of applied filters will be displayed in the blue box next to the data source.

Overwrite Board filters

If you want the data in your widget to be based on specific Board users or teams, you can add users or teams by enabling 'Overwrite Board Filters'.

Note that 'Overwrite Board Filters' will supersede the selection of teams or users chosen under Board settings as well as the filters chosen under 'Manage filters'.

See here how to use filters in your widgets.

Filtering - Games & Notifications

In games and nofications, you can add filters via the data source as well as filter via filtered teams or users.

Filter via data source

If you want to filter by users, queues, campaigns, or similar elements in your games or notifications, you can easily specify which filters to apply.

To filter data in games or notifications, select the data source and then choose the relevant filters under 'Manage Filters'.

Filtered by teams or users

If you have users or teams created in Board, you can select them as filters as well. Choose the teams or users you want to display data for at the bottom of the pop-up.

Note that 'Filtered teams/users' will supersede the filters chosen under 'Manage filters'.
