In table widgets and number widgets, it is possible to configure color conditions for both numbers, time and text. This guide explains how to utilize these color conditions effectively.
Overview
Table widget
With this type of widget, you can define color conditions for number, time and numbers.
When creating a table widget, you can add various columns to display KPIs from the selected integration(s).
Numeric KPIs
If you choose to display a KPI of type "number," you can configure color conditions as follows:
- Select a numeric KPI: Numeric KPIs are identified by the "123" icon in front of the KPI name.
- Two types of color settings are available:
- Text Color: Colors only the number itself.
- Background Color: Colors the background of the cell containing the number, leaving the number itself black/white.
- Choose a color gradient: Select whether the gradient should progress from red-yellow-green or green-yellow-red.
- Set the conditions for color change: For a red-yellow-green progression, specify the conditon for when the color should change from red to yellow and from yellow to green.
Time KPIs
If you choose to display a KPI of type "time," you can configure color conditions as follows:
- Select a time KPI: Time KPIs are identified by the "clock" icon in front of the KPI name.
When setting up color conditions for time-based KPIs, please note that the values in the color condition change should be specified in seconds.
Text KPIs
If you choose to display a KPI of type "text," you can configure color conditions as follows:
- Select a text KPI: Text KPIs are identified by the "TT" icon in front of the KPI name.
- Enable color settings: Toggle the "Color" feature on.
- Add a rule: Click the green "Add Rule" button.
- Choose the condition type: Specify whether the rule should be "Equal to" or "Not Equal to," then input the exact text to be colored. Ensure the text matches the incoming data exactly.
- Note: For names or other specific values, you must create one rule per unique entry.
- Set the color: Choose the desired color for your condition.
