Instead of selecting a time period for each individual widget, you can set the period under 'Create Board/Board Settings'.
When creating widgets, the period is automatically set to 'Inherit from Board,' meaning the widget will use the time period defined in 'Create Board/Board Settings'.
If you want specific widgets on the board to have a different time period, you can adjust this on the individual widget, which will overwrite the default period.
Do you have a board where you want the same setup but with a different time period? Simply duplicate your board and select the new time period under 'Board Settings'. Remember to give your new board a new title.
By choosing the period under 'Create Board/Board Settings' and using 'Inherit from Board' on your widgets, you save the hassle of updating the period for each widget when you want to duplicate a board with a different time period.
With the period Last X/Last X full period and Next X/Next X full period, you can define relative time periods in relation to "now" and view data X minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years forward or backward. The feature is available for all widget types as well as for boards and games.
If you, for instance, choose 'Last X Full Period' and set the value to 2 weeks, data will be shown from Monday to Monday. If you on the other hand, choose 'Last X' and set the value to 2 weeks, and you're viewing your data on a Wednesday, the data will be shown from Wednesday to Wednesday.
You can e.g. use the feature to display: Who has made the most sales in the last 30 minutes?
With Offset, you can add to a specific period. The offset can be used with days, weeks, months, or years.
If you set the period to Last month and offset to 1, data will be shown for this month. If you set the period to Today and offset to -1, data will be shown for yesterday.
