You can calculate employee salary in Work through the menu option "Calculate Salary".

To set up your salary calculation, follow these steps:

  1. Access Salary Calculation

    • Navigate to the menu "Economy".
    • Select "Calculate Salary".
  2. Set Up Filters

    • In the filter field that appears, specify the criteria for your salary calculation.
  3. Data Sources

    • Salary calculations use data from Reports and Personal Data.
    • Ensure that both reports and personal data are approved, as unapproved data will trigger warnings and will not be included in the calculations.
  4. Overview

    • After performing your search, you'll see results detailing employee data for the specified period.
    • You can expand individual employee entries for detailed views and summaries.
    • At the bottom, you'll find a summary of key metrics for the salary period.
  5. Export Options

    • There are four Excel export options available:

    1. Custom Template

      • Create a custom template to extract specific data fields and divisions.
      • Add the desired fields, select the layout, and perform a search to preview the export.
      • Export to Excel or save the template for future use. You can modify the template or use it for the next salary run.
    2. Standard Template

      • Use a pre-defined standard template if you need a fixed set of fields and don't want to customize.
    3. Project-Based Template

      • Use a standard template specific to projects.
    4. Approved Master Data Template

      • Export data with a fixed template that includes only approved master data.

Additional Notes:

  • Only the creator of a custom template can make changes to it.
  • You can create as many templates as needed and choose the relevant one during each salary calculation.
  • When you have calculated the salary you can close it so no one can make changes to it. Learn more here.
