Create a better overview by categorizing your content in Board.
You can categorize boards, slideshows, and games.
Overview
Create category
To create categories:
- Go to boards, slideshows, or games
- Edit existing or create a new board, slideshow or game
- Under Settings, click Manage categories under categories in the pop-up
- Then click Create and give the category a title
- Click Create to save the category
Create parent category
Would you like to create subcategories for your categories?
With a parent category, you can easily create subcategories under existing categories.
Simply create a new category as described in the previous step, then select the category your subcategory should belong to under Parent category.
Add categories
You can easily add a category or subcategory to your board, slideshow, or game.
- Click Settings on an existing board, slideshow or game, or create a new one, you want to add a category to
- In the dropdown menu, select which category your content should belong to
- Click Next and Save
Once you have added categories to your boards, slideshows, or games, you can see your content has been categorized in your overview.
Edit categories
- Click Settings on an existing board, slideshow or game, or create a new one, to make changes to your categories
- Click Manage Categories
- Then click Edit on the category you want to modify
- You have the option to change the title of the category, as well as select a parent category or switch to a different parent category
- Once you have made your changes, click Save
Delete categories
- Click Settings on an existing board, slideshow or game, or create a new one, to delete categories
- Click Manage Categories
- Then click Delete on the category you want to delete
- Confirm with Yes
